What we collect, and why

This website has no server-side form handling. When you use any enquiry, test-ride or service form, the details you type are assembled into a WhatsApp message on your own device. Nothing is stored on this website, and nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp.

Once you send that message, or call one of our numbers, we hold what you gave us — typically name, phone number, the model or service you asked about, and your area — for one purpose: answering your enquiry and following up on it.

If we later add analytics or advertising tags, this section will name them and the identifiers they set before those tags go live.

The basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you contact us. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the phone number or email below. Withdrawal does not affect anything lawfully done before it.

Who else sees it

• Ather Energy Limited — for booking, registration and warranty.
• Financing partners — only if you asked us to arrange a loan, and only the details that lender needs.
• Insurance providers — only if you asked us to arrange cover.
• Regional Transport Office — for registration of a vehicle you have bought.

We do not sell your data or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted. Records tied to a completed sale or service are kept for as long as tax, warranty and motor vehicle regulations require.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us for access to your personal data, correction or completion of it, erasure of data we no longer need, and you may nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You may also raise a grievance about how we handled your data.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 7 working days and resolve them within 30 days.

Cookies and third parties

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It does load fonts from Google Fonts and product images and video from Ather Energy's media servers, so those providers receive your IP address and browser details as part of the ordinary request for those files.
